“I would go back to this house, very central to lovely beaches, and central to drive to lovely mountain views all round a beautiful holiday.”

Latheanmor Court Cottages

These two traditional and homely semi-detached cottages are in the centre of the town of Bangor Erris, a popular location for anglers as there is good fishing available at Carrowmore Lake, plus salmon and seatrout fishing can be enjoyed on the Ownmore, Ownduff and Glenamoy Rivers, all located within a ten mile drive from the properties. Ideal for a group of friends or families, this is a fantastic location for touring the west of Ireland. After a successful fishing trip, why not take your catch of the day home to be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen which has a dining area? You can then relax in the sitting room with one property offering the additional comfort of an open fire. Both cottages have three bedrooms, one on the ground floor and two with en-suite facilities which is ideal for any less mobile members of the group. Outside, both cottages have a front and rear lawned garden with furniture where you can take a seat and enjoy a cool summer’s breeze with a refreshing drink in hand. The nearby area is easily accessible and there are many walking trails including the Bangor Trail nearby which passes through the Nephin Beg mountain range, so pull on your walking boots and head out for the day. Bangor Erris itself has everything you will need during your stay including three pubs and a handy supermarket just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Also the Wild Atlantic Way and Ballycroy National Park are within each reach. These cottages are sure to provide something for everyone, no matter what time of year you visit.
