    “Cosy”

    I stayed at Carrowmore Meadows in January and the house was very warm, cosy and peaceful and within walking distance to Knock Village. Mary was very friendly and left me some Fruit,Scones and Beverages. I would highly recommend this property.

This cosy and stylish mid-terrace cottage is located on the outskirts of the famous village of Knock in County Mayo.

Situated in the heart of a peaceful and well-maintained development, this lovely cottage is the perfect base for couples or small families to explore the region and discover all of its delights and attractions.

Boasting a contemporary interior, guests can enjoy a welcoming sitting room which opens into the kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen also leads out to a sheltered and private patio area where you can enjoy your morning coffee before the day’s activities.

The quiet village of Knock is famed for its Holy Shrine and sees thousands of tourists on its doorstep each year.

Just a fifteen-minute drive from Knock International Airport, the village offers a convenient and central location for your holiday and is home to a selection of shops and pubs.

Attractions within easy reach include fishing on the shores of Lough Mask, near the historic town of Cong, or travel to the pretty harbour town of Westport set beneath the iconic Croagh Patrick Mountain.

The bustling town of Castlebar is only a short drive away and is home to a wonderful selection of shops, pubs and eateries, and is alive with friendly Irish charm.

Why not explore some of Ireland’s stunning Wild Atlantic Way and spend a day on Achill Island, home to a fantastic selection of beaches and outdoor pursuits, including golf, kayaking and windsurfing?

The quaint village of Knock is home to one of Europe’s most famous religious landmarks. The impressive Knock Shrine was apparently the location of an apparition in 1879. The site has such importance that John Paul II visited Knock Shrine himself to commemorate the centenary of the vision. The village now attracts over one million visitors a year and is just a short distance from Knock Airport. The area is surrounded by beautiful stretching countryside and is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, walkers and fishermen. There are many towns nearby including Castlebar and Westport with many events and festivals throughout the year.
