Extended family of 8 including a three year old and a two year old. Made to feel very welcome by Georgina. Accommodation was superb, large farmhouse style kitchen with everything supplied and built in. . Bedrooms large with very comfortable beds. 2 Bathrooms. Games dvds etc supplied. Surrounding area full of historical sites. Plenty of activities for children. Cottages have a games room barbecue etc. Minor problems with Tv plumbing etc rapidly remedied by Georgina - full marks. Drawbacks? No mobile reception in cottage but not much they can do about that. They advertise free wifi but it is virtually non existent not that you intend to be online for your holiday but it was dissapointing not being able to face time friends and family and was major problem when trying to use internet to book activities etc. This problem does need resolved in this internet age. Overall very satisfied with the Forge at decoy cottages
