Navan is the county town of County Meath. County Meath is full of religious ruins and historic sites, and the Iron-Age monuments of the Hill of Tara. The Abbey of Kells and Trim Castle are also worth a visit, as is the Neolithic standing stones of Brú na Bóinne, with sightseeing tours available. Navan has much to offer including an array of shops, restaurants and coffee shops, such as a Costa. Dublin is also nearby, where a further range of amenities, and also home to the famous Guinness Factory and Temple Bar. Why not visit Drogheda, one of the oldest towns in Ireland which is only a short drive away and offers Georgian architecture - or for the more adventurous, try Funtasia Water park or a boat tour.
