    “Home away from home”

We stayed in the Parlour with our two young (ages 4 and 1) children for nearly two weeks during our recent (2013) visit to Ireland from america. The amenities left us wanting for nothing and the location for us was perfect: about 7 minutes by car to Navan and 5 minutes from the Hill of Tara. The home was contemporary, comfortable and very clean. Paula and staff were kind, professional and very helpful. The grounds were beautiful. The only reason I didn't rate Comfort as an Excellant was because ...

The only reason I didn't rate Comfort as an Excellant was because we found the couches in the sitting room to be slightly lacking in comfort, but even now as I type this it seems a bit nit-picky when I consider our whole experience. One word of caution; the playful cats can be surprising for young children when they bat their paws at you. And close your front door behind you, unless you don't mind them in your kitchen! :)
