    Mrs Sanderson

“The cottage was in a lovely location with so much to do in the surrounding areas and further afield.”

The owners were really helpful and friendly, and all the facilities in the cottage were great! It was like a home from home.

The property

Touraneena 3 miles.

An excellent, stone-built farmhouse, which overlooks the Comeragh Mountain range, in the hamlet of Ballinamult near Touraneena, County Waterford.

With thick stone walls throughout, and exposed wooden beams in the sitting room, this Irish holiday home offers a cosy and traditional feel for family and friends who want to get together and enjoy each others' company.

Set over two floors, you enter into the sun room at the front of the property, which is south-facing and makes the most of the Irish sun.

You are then led into the first sitting room, which has a solid fuel stove and wooden floors, continuing that traditional theme.

Off to the right you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, and to the left is the second sitting room with electric fire and a computer with internet access.

From the second sitting room, the house leads on to the games room, with a pool table and dart board.

Upstairs are three good-sized bedrooms, offering different sleeping arrangements that should be sure to please everyone.

Outside, to the rear of the property is a lawn and a patio with furniture and BBQ, should you wish to sit out after a great day’s exploring.

Located on the owners’ farm, holidaymakers can fish in their river, approximately 200 yards from the house, so be sure to bring your fishing rods!

Should you wish to go a bit further, there's lots to see within a short drive, including Dungarvan, which is on the coast, and the historic town of Lismore, which is one of the locations on the Vee Drive, a scenic driving route, which really has to be taken if you’re in the area.

An excellent property to be booked immediately.
