We had a problem with another cottage and were rebooked here by Sykes on New Year's Eve. This way, we not only discovered a beautiful town we'd never have been to without the change: The Evergreen Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. Peaceful and quietly located right in some woods that almost feel like a tropical jungle. All the facilities and equipment you might wish for are available, the cottage gets warm in winter and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The hosts (Bridget and her husband) are perfect and care about your well-being. Best of all, they managed to perfectly accomodate us even on the short notice given to them by Sykes. It's also conveniently located to explore Cahir and its castles, has some good supermarkets nearby and is perfectly located to explore most of southern Ireland. We would certainly return and can absolutely recommend this cottage!
