Work House Cottage No. 1 and Work House Cottage No. 2 are lovely ground floor properties close to village of Kilmacthomas in County Waterford, set on the River Mahon and also located on the Waterford Greenway, which is a major attraction in Ireland's ancient east. Both properties are set on the ground floor, with one having three bedrooms and the other two, and one also has an open fire and the other an electric fire. Off road parking is also available and Work House Cottage No.1 has a gravelled area. The village provides an array of shops and bars, and is well known for the Mahon Falls, the picturesque waterfalls which lie just outside the village. Dungarvan is a short drive away with an attractive harbour town, has many amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as festivals and events throughout the year, and activities such as watersports on offer. Waterford city is the oldest city in Ireland, and has an arts centre, film and cultural festivals and a good choice of places to eat and drink. A lovely part of the country to tour and explore.
