A rural detached bungalow set in an elevated position near the village of Bansha.

Surrounded by open countryside with views of the Galtee Mountains, this cottage gives you the opportunity to stay in a 19th century old Irish school house and is great for families, couples or groups of friends, who are either looking to relax in peace and quiet or explore the local area.

Once inside the hallway, you will notice the character of the property with the high ceilings and leaded windows in the bedrooms.

This leads you into the open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen with a good sized dining table to enjoy some home-cooked food.

There are plenty of comfy sofas to relax in front of the solid fuel stove after a busy day full of adventures.

The cottage has two double bedrooms with a family bathroom.

To the outside of the cottage are lawned gardens surrounding the property, where you can hear the relaxing sound of the nearby running stream running and there is plenty of space for the kids to let off some steam.

Everywhere you look, you will be surrounded by countryside with open fields aplenty.

The village of Bansha is home to a good selection of shops and pubs.

There are many attractions nearby, including the Glen of Aherlow, Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel to enjoy.

For a great day out why not visit the town of Cashel and Cahir for a wealth of history and a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, or further afield you could venture to Limerick or Cork.

Whatever you decide to do, you will surely enjoy this rural retreat with plenty of things to see and do nearby, all adding to your Irish adventure.
