The property

This detached stone cottage is situated half a mile from the village of Lattin and six miles from the county town of Tipperary.

This lovely cottage is an ideal base for a family or a group of friends who wish to explore this part of the Emerald Isle with it also being close to the border of County Limerick.

Once inside this welcoming holiday home you will find on the ground floor a well-equipped kitchen/diner, along with a sitting room with a cosy multi-fuel stove, where you can snuggle up and relax with a hot drink on a cool evening.

Also on the ground floor there’s a single bedroom and a bathroom, whilst upstairs there’s two further bedrooms, a double and twin, together with a shower room.

The cottage also has the convenience of ample off road parking.

Half a mile away is the village of Lattin, where there are two pubs and a church.

Three miles away is the village of Emly that has a large shop, butchers, post office and three pubs.

The popular town of Tipperary is surrounded by walks and cycle routes, with the town itself situated in the Glen of Aherlow between the Slievenamuck Hills and the Galtee Mountains.

The town has a 19th century market hall, a motte and bailey castle, and a number of restaurants and pubs.

Also from Tipperary are rail links to Dublin, Waterford, Limerick and Galway.

Limerick 25 miles

Arguably the most famous town in the world, with the help of the song "It's a long way to Tipperary". There is some spectacular scenery on offer ideal for cycling and walking. Tipperary town lies in the Golden Vale, not far from the Glen of Aherlow between the Slievenamuck Hills and the Galtee Mountains. Tipperary is a 19th century market town and is still home to some excellent 19th century buildings and the motte and bailey built by the Normans can still be seen today, and also offers a variety of restaurants and pubs for you to sample and live Irish music as well. Limerick Junction railway station is nearby and has great rail links to Dublin, Waterford, Limerick and Galway. Centrally located it is within easy reach of all major Irish cities, and is an ideal base for exploring the country with counties including, Limerick, Waterford and Cork close at hand.
