Great location with lovely views. Only a short drive to Fethard, Duncannon, many beautiful beaches and only a 2 minute drive to the ferry that will take you to Waterford. And great to find somewhere that’s dog friendly and has an enclosed garden so we didn’t have to keep the dogs on the lead all the time. I highly recommend Sea Renity for your stay In Wexford. I received no reply to either of my emails. Before our holiday was due to take place, I tried repeatedly to get through to your company over the phone to explain this and to check our options but could not get an answer. I spent nearly 5hrs in total on hold (at times waiting for over 45mins) in the week running up to our holiday and never once got through. In the end I had to phone the owner direct to advise them that we would have to cancel the booking. She was very understanding but said I would need to contact Sykes to organise any refunds or postponement to a later date. Sadly contacting your company by phone appears to be impossible and you do not respond to emails. Your COVID19 advice pages on the website said that there was no need for us to contact you as you were prioritising contacting all customers with holidays booked up to 31st July. To date, I have received absolutely no contact whatsoever from you in relation to our booking or the ongoing travel restrictions in place in Ireland. Clearly no-one is going to choose to go on holiday to a destination where you have to stay in the property for 14 days and yet you made no effort to contact me, instead sending generic emails about key collection etc. as if everything was normal. I did not cancel the booking on your website as the on-screen information suggested that if I did so I would not be entitled to any refund. This is outrageous for a booking that was made back in February before any lockdowns were imposed in the UK or Ireland. I would quite happily have amended the booking to a later date so that neither party ended up losing any money but the booking page for your website did not offer this facility and you never answer the phone to allow this to be discussed. I am appalled at the ineptitude of your customer service and the fact that you would seek to profit in anyway from this pandemic is a disgrace. Please contact me as soon as possible to arrange a refund or revised booking date. - Mr Crossley, July 2020 Show more Show less The property Sea Renity is a well equipped, modern comfortable property to base yourself from as you explore the numerous attractions in the area.
