  • "Best equipped holiday home ever!"

! Light and spacious. The winter garden/sun room which is always warm and cosy soon became our home away from home. It invites you to stay in. If you are looking for absolute silence this is your place.

Lovely house with lots of ground for kids to play. Great location and convenient for beach and local attractions. Very clean and comfortable. Owner very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend to others.

  • "Spacious comfortable house with lots of homily touches."

Lots to explore in this Gaeltacht area with panoramic views of sea and mountains. Sad reminders of our famine past and the challenges people here faced in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Location makes it in easy reach of Ardmore, Youghal, Lismore and Dun Garvan. Local areas of Rinn , Helvick Head, truly beautiful with wonderful views across the bay. If feeling energetic walk the Coineagar, a sand spit stretching across the bay, 2 hour walk, wear sunscreen and bring water. Enjoyable holiday.

Unfortunately the only thing is it won't be big enough for next year, that's taking nothing away from this place we had a brilliant holiday and they looked after as well, so thanks to the people who own it and Sykes Cottages for their help and understandin. So thanks for the holiday and we will definitely be using Sykes next year but a larger house, roll on the next holiday
