    “Owner was lovely and the property was in good condition.”

    Some confusion in getting the hot water to reach the taps, but this wasn't a major issue and the showers seemed to work ok each time. Might be nice to give a rough estimate on heating and electric costs (we didn't mind, but perhaps it might concern others).

The property

A superb semi-detached property located in the centre of the popular coastal village of Duncannon, County Wexford.

The picturesque mile-long beach is suitable for safe swimming and watersports, whilst the village itself offers many festivals and events throughout the year, and a warm welcome is assured in the local taverns where traditional music is a regular feature.

Visit the imposing fort that overlooks the town or take a short drive along the coast to the stunning Hook Head Peninsula which is dominated by the oldest lighthouse in Ireland.

Take a boat trip to see the whales or just wander the miles of glorious coastline stopping only to admire the unspoilt landscapes.

You may also wish to cross the River Suir and visit Tramore or Ireland's oldest city, Waterford.

There are also many more beautiful beaches at Dunmore East, Cullenstown and Rosslare, plus cyclists, fishermen and golfers will also find opportunities to partake in their favourite pastime.
