  • "It was an absolute pleasure staying at Ash Drive House."

Helen, the owner, was so accommodating, kind and considerate. From welcoming snacks aswell as milk in the fridge on our arrival, to leaving lighting on (within her property) to aid us in the dark as we loaded the car due to a very early departure, a very thoughtful lady. Would definitely stay here again and reccomend to family and friends.

Helen and Sam were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The accommodation was spacious, clean, family friendly, and extremely comfortable, and the surrounding countryside beautiful. It felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  • "Excellent location and very polite host."

We have no complaints at all regarding cleanliness and facilities at the house. The only thing that can be improved is that the WiFi signal is weak around the house except one room.

We were received with hospitality and felt welcomed throughout our stay. We would very much hope to be welcomed to stay with Helen and Sam again soon. Milo and Tammy also made us feel very welcome. The cakes, eggs milk and tea (made for us) on arrival helped us adjust after a long tiring journey.

  • "The property was perfect and just as described and the owner Helen was so friendly and helpful and if there is anything you need you only have to ask her."

The house was spacious, clean and is well equipped with everything you could need. The wood burner was easy to light but as the range provided central heating and hot water we didn’t need to use the fire. The house is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous countryside views and travel to Gorey or the beach are only 10-15 minutes away. Helen’s dogs are friendly but not intrusive and we loved watching the parade of ducks through the garden everyday. We have had a great week and in fact we loved it so much we have already booked again for next year. We would most definitely recommend this property it is as I said just perfect.

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay."

The house is very well equipped, and everything worked perfectly. The owners live next door, and were very helpful and welcoming. The house is about 180 yards form the road, and not easy to see from there. I missed the driveway twice. My Garmin satnav got the co-ordinates right, but gave the house as being on the wrong side of the road! There is a useful agricultural sign on the opposite side of the road about 30-40 yards from the entrance to the driveway - ask about it when you are arranging to collect the keys. RE
