"Elrove exceeded our expectations, in a very quiet location, beautiful surroundings."
Mary was very welcoming and as we arrived tired the house was a haven. Beds very comfortable and the house was very clean. Garden was immaculate and there was plenty of garden seating. Very good food shop just a few minutes drive up the road. Lots of lovely family and dog walking beaches in the area. All in all a very relaxing 3 week holiday.

"My Partner and I, along with my Elderly (Not So Mobile) Parents have just returned to the UK after a weeks stay at Elrove."
The location was perfect, the setting was perfect and the house itself was fantastic. Everything you need was avaialable, the owner Mary met us on arrival and she stayed in constant touch with me during our stay - and even though we never seen her again, it always felt like she was there (if that makes sense). Bedrooms are all large and spacious 2 downstairs with a large Shared Bathroom - ideal for my parents, and 2 upstairs with En-suite. Large kitchen, with Dishwasher and a utility room off this. Nice little snug area as well, and a comfy sized Lounge. My aprtner and I did swap bedrooms as one of the Mattresses was very soft, so we decided to use the other room, which had a mattress more to our liking (that is no a critisism, more personal choice). Huge garden at the back, and a good sized one at the frnt, you could park 10 cars at the front and back of the house - friendly cows in the Field next door, and Alfie the friendly neighbours dog. This has been one of the best properties myself and my partner have ever stayed in - you won't be dissapointed that i can assure you of. 2 minute drive from Wellington Bridge, which has a Small Supermarket, petrol Station, Chemist, Hairdressers and a couple of other shops - and a Pub, (Tir-Na-Nog) which does good meals. If you do stay in the Area, then you must visit 'The Hook' which is a Lighthouse and is a very popular area for visitors - spend a hour down there watching the Waves crash at the Rocks on a windy day, or the total serene tranquility on a calm day - if you are lucky you may spot the odd seal, bobbing about in the water. Elrove is great, and cant praise it enough 9.9 / 10 from me - Thank you Mary

"If it was possible to give 10 out of 5 stars, we would."
Our stay at Elrove Place was nothing short of awesome. The house itself is even more gorgeous in person than it is in the photos and we felt incredibly welcome. The views here are very green and tranquil. Everything we needed was provided and our host was always a quick phone call or sms away. We couldn't provide a higher recommendation for this place.

"This was a fantastic property."
The owner was local and extremely helpful...great communication with us throughout the stay. The property was in a lovely quiet location with very large grounds. It was also easy to get to the main road and to local villages. Some great beaches nearby and some other good sights / attractions. The pictures on the website actually didn't so the property justice and it was bigger than it looks with more than enough space for 3 families to relax and enjoy some space. We would definitely return if we visit the area again.

"A modern, very spacious, well furnished and spotlessly clean house."
Comfortable beds, great showers, situated in a very peaceful and charming location. It is an ideal location for touring the Hook Peninsula and the Wexford area. There is a car ferry within easy reach which takes you across the estuary in minutes to Co. Waterford opening up even more options for visiting places of interest. There was lots to do and see and we had a wonderful week staying at this property. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. This part of Co. Wexford is really lovely and all the people we met were very friendly.
