The aptly named “Calm” is a perfect place to relax and unwind. We visited 7-14 July 2018. We had a warm and very kind welcome from George & Cara who are a lovely couple. The aptly named “Calm” is a perfect place to relax and unwind. We visited 7-14 July 2018. We had a warm and very kind welcome from George & Cara who are a lovely couple. Minnie the dog will give you a hearty welcome too! The house is perfectly proportioned, modern and cleverly designed (by George). The sun drenched patio looking over rolling hills was a great back drop to lunch al fresco. If you prefer, you are a ten minute stroll from a massive stretch of stony beach ( yes, wear your sandals) which is sheltered with clear water and safe swimming. You can walk easily around the coastline and you will have about five people to share the sandy stretches. On Wednesday and Saturday mornings there is a yoga class five minutes down the lane from the house. Visit Gorey, it is stuffed full of great places to eat. We only had a week but promise to return if only for a great nights sleep between the Egyptian cotton sheets. Thank you George & Cara. Colette & Jude, Belfast
