For a day trip, take a visit to Wicklow as well as Glendalough, Mount Usher Gardens, and the Sally Gap.

For a good day out take a visit to the picturesque fishing village of Courtown, a five minute drive away, which has plenty of facilities for children, including Pirates cove with mini golf, Gravity adventure centre and Ireland's only seal sanctuary.

Situated only nine miles away from the popular market town of Gorey, there are many attractions to visit; Wells House and Gardens is lovely for a family walk and Kia Ora Mini Farm is perfect for younger children, as well as many restaurants which cater for all tastes and budgets, including the award winning of Marlfield House..

The fabulous city of Dublin is just a little further North, so why not take a day to explore its vibrant city streets?

The village of Ballygarrett is tucked away amongst the rolling fields of County Wexford. Just 8 miles from the town of Gorey, the village has a strong community feel with an imposing church at its centre, as well as 3 pubs and a shop where a warm welcome is assured. Just over a mile from the village is an expansive beach that stretches along the coastline. There are several beaches in the area, including 3 within a 5 minute drive, plus a number of golf courses and driving ranges can be found in and around Gorey and Wicklow. The beauty of the Wicklow Mountains are within easy reach, as is the county town of Wexford, or you may wish to take a day trip to Dublin.
