  • "Rose Cottage was very well equipped with everything that we needed, it was spotlessly clean and very welcoming."

The only down side was that the weather was so beautiful and warm that we did not need to light the fire which was left all ready for us, a fire would have made it even more cosy.

We had a wonderful welcome from our host Joan and had cake and biscuits awaiting us on our arrival. Cottage very close to all tourist attractions and Beaches, lovely pubs an Restaurants . The Ferry over to Passage East was an extra bonus well worth a trip to Dunmore East. Cant wait to return.

  • "Mrs Cooley was very friendly and helpful."

The cottage was lovely and had all the appliances you would need. I was very happy to see there was a wifi connection as I didn't realise that my phone service provider would not be available in Ireland. Southern Ireland is a beautiful place to visit and I would recommend anyone to go and to stay in Rose Cottage.

The cottage is very close to all of the tourist attractions on the Hook Peninsula and surrounding areas. We were welcomed with open arms and felt very comfortable for the whole week. Many thanks.

We never like to go back to a previous holiday destination but this was our second time there and we intend many more! Couldn't have asked for more - well except for another week.

There were so many things to see and do nearby as well. Great location and great cottage. Would definitely recommend!

  • "We arrived to a warm and comfortable cottage on a cold evening and Joan had lovely scones waiting for us."

There was a pub close by, called "The Hollow", which served first class meals. After eating there on the first night we knew we would not be going anywhere else to eat. Shops were about 2km away. There were many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area and the only unfortunate part was that our time went too quickly. We had a lovely time and are looking forward to going back for another holiday. Therese & Kevin

  • "What a lovely little house."

.. the scones on arrival were delicious and we loved the farm animals . Close to grocery store, church and Duncannon Beach is a short drive. Waterford City is just a few miles away if you use The Ballyhack Ferry. Sit in the yard and read or sunbathe, we had beautiful weather. Thank you Joan, we would love to come back. Patrick and Ellen.
