Was very close to the club house and beach which was ideal for us. Beach is fabulous both for swimming and long walks. The area was very quite. Close to shops, restaurants and Wexford town. House was clean, beds were comfortable. Shower ran hot and cold a bit but we descaled it and seemed to do the trick! Maybe should be put into the cleaning instructions!! We did have trouble accessing the cottage due to the barrier. The phone number wouldn’t work for us, eventually Leanne provided us with a fob. Much easier and so straight forward. The mattresses are uncomfortable and the radiator in the main room could do with being replaced but the house is clean and well looked after and communication is very good with the house caretaker who generously provided a couple of extra heaters. Whoever owns the cottage needs to invest in new mattresses (good quality mattresses) until this was addressed this would stop me from booking again & recommending to anyone - sorry we need our sleep. The position of the bungalow was perfect! 60 seconds away were the steps down to the beach and also the clubhouse and beach shop. Lovely quiet spot with magnificent views of the sea. The property This is a beautiful detached bungalow situated on a golf course near the quintessentially Irish town of Rosslare.This country style bungalow is the perfect base for families or a group of friends to enjoy a cosy escape in Ireland. The property sleeps six in two light filled spacious bedrooms. The master double boasts plenty of storage space for longer holidays. The large second bedroom has a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Across the hallway is a modern family bathroom with a walk in electric shower. Down the hallway is a farmhouse open plan living area with a kitchen, diner and lounge. This is fantastic space for families or groups of friends to socialise in and spend some much needed holiday time together. The kitchen is equipped with everything you should need during your stay to make delicious meals together before relaxing in the lounge with some board games or a few drinks.
