Softer lighting would have helped. The cottage never felt warm and in winter time we would have really struggled to stay warm. The hot water situation was very frustrating - having to a wait a long while for each one of us to have a shower. With four of us in the cottage it seem to take ages for us to have showers. The cooker was a real worry. One of the ring was very corroded. Other than welcome pack for which we were grateful as we arrived at 8pm with no shops nearby, it would have been helpful if the there some basic supplies in the store cupboard.
