The property

The Old Quarry is a unique, almost magical holiday home just half a mile from the town centre of Wiveliscombe, on the edge of the stunning Exmoor National Park.

This exquisite, detached, log cabin nestles in a secluded location in its very own woodland area.

Your only neighbours are birds, squirrels, a few inquisitive rabbits and the occasional deer.

The Old Quarry has full heating and a woodburning stove, making it wonderfully warm and cosy throughout the year.

The living space is smart and open plan, and once inside, all rooms are on one level.

Three pretty bedrooms can be found at the rear of the cabin, which share the family bathroom - all with modern fixtures and fittings.

On balmy summer evenings, the veranda is a perfect place to relax and look out over the fairytale surroundings.

There is also a picnic table, benches and a stone built barbecue.

The Exmoor National Park and Brendon Hills are close by and are perfect for long walks.

The Old Quarry is an ideal Somerset retreat.
