  • "Lovely house, but parts of it needs updating such as the games room, maybe another downstairs bathroom as there were 16 of us."

    The host Angela was amazing.

  • "Great place for a family holiday with excellent facilities."

The wonderful setting in such extensive woods meant that we hardly left the site all week other than to buy food. The swimming pool and hot tub were a huge success with all the family. We couldn't have found a better place particularly in these strange Covid19 times. There is only one suggestion for an improvement and that is that the pool table in the games room could do with being upgraded!

  • "Great house for a family celebration."

Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a warm welcome from Angela, the host. A fascinating house with lots of history , we enjoyed the woodland walks and the games room was great during Sunday's storm. Thank you.

  • "We could not have been made more welcome by the owner."

Nothing was too much trouble for her and her team. Middle Coombe was quirky and full of character and our party (age range 2-83) were happy to stay around the property and in the wonderful grounds most of the week. The pool and hot tub were very popular with the young. it was a brilliant holiday.

  • "Beautiful grade 2 farmhouse in a gorgeous setting."

We were a party of 15 (on a hen weekend) and this was just perfect. Angela was lovely, greeting us on arrival and making us feel so welcome, hot tub was a great hit and the woodland setting topped it off.
