  • "A lovely house ,very clean just like home from home well equipped And they really have thought of everything."

We had a fabulous time and Ashburton we found quite a central Location to a lot of places we visited .we would just like to say thank you to Jackie and Mark the owners of Armourers forge for making our stay a very pleasant one .

    Mr RennieSep 2020

  • "The house was furnished to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean."

The kitchen was fully equipped with high end appliances. The owner said normally they would welcome guests with a Devon cream tea however due to these strange times they couldn't do that however they did leave us some lovely biscuits with tea and coffee which was a nice touch. Dishwasher and washing tablets were also included which was appreciated. The house was equipped with Alexa, Netflix, Amazon etc as well as board games. Overall the house and the welcome was first class and we would highly recommend it.

    Mr GreenSep 2020

  • "Accommodation was excellent but perhaps a little more personal touches like pictures on wall etc would have made it feel more homely."

Otherwise could not be faulted and would stay again.

    Mr SawersAug 2020

  • "A beautiful house in the middle of a lovely town full of proper shops."

The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was superb. The owners made us feel so special and it was so nice to have all the decorations, fresh flowers and treats. Selfishly don't want to recommend the house in case it gets so booked up we can't return!!!! Thank you so much for creating such a gorgeous holiday home.

  • "The holiday cottage was spotlessly clean and everything we could need was provided for."

Very impressed by all the extras provided like warm scones and clotted cream on arrival, fresh flowers throughout the house and even doggie treats for the dog. The perfect base for exploring the area and local facilities just a minutes walk from the front door. Would highly recommend.

  • "Ashburton is really well situated for either exploring the area, with lots of days out and adventures within easy reach of the house OR staying local, with cafes, ice-cream and a local lido in shouting distance of the house."

The house is really beautiful, elegant and peaceful and the owners were lovely - fresh lemon drizzle cake on arrival, and helped us out with a delivery query kindly. For our two families, the house was plenty big enough and I have never rented a house with such a well appointed, thought through kitchen - it was amazing.

    Thank you

    Mr BarnesAug 2019

  • "Having all the mod cons from home was really helpful and made the whole family relax."

Plus the cakes that were baked as we arrived was a really amazing touch.
