Aveton Gifford is a small rural village at the head of the estuary of the River Avon in the South Hams area of the South Devon AONB. Similarly, Ivybridge offers a choice of places to shop, eat and drink as well as providing easy access to the Dartmoor National Park which is a haven for lovers of walking and cycling. There are chickens housed in the meadow area, the owners respectfully advise they will be feeding the chickens but will not require access to any other part of the property as they will be in the nearby hut. The meadow area is to be enjoyed, please keep to the mown path.
