Fosfelle Country House

One three bedroom cottage and two cosy apartments in a converted barn adjacent to a country house on the outskirts of Hartland, a pretty village 3 miles from the dramatic north west Devon coast. These Hartland cottages are ideal for small groups looking for a quiet, rural escape near the coast, with the added attraction of alpacas, miniature donkeys, rare breed chickens, call ducks, Angora rabbits and pygmy goats. There are also two fishing lakes, one for coarse fishing with rudd, tench and carp and the other for trout. These Hartland cottages have a cosy feel, with traditional décor and open plan sitting rooms which look out onto a courtyard. Guests are free to wander the 5-acre site with meadows, woodland, a childrens' play area and BBQ area. Why not wander down to the village of Hartland less than half a mile away where there are shops, a quay and lighthouse? The dramatic coastline from Hartland to Bude offers fabulous walking opportunity and there are sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages such as Clovelly scattered along the Devon coastline. A peaceful retreat that is away from it all, but is close to many tourist attractions.
