The property

This lovely spacious family holiday home, lies a little over a mile away from Bantham beach in South Devon, and is perfectly suited for family get-togethers or holidays with friends.

A fuss-free holiday home, arranged over three floors.

Entry into a large hallway, French doors on one side lead into a soothing and highly comfortable sitting room with soft grey leather settees and Juliet balcony overlooking the garden.

A contemporary kitchen/diner is positioned the opposite side, with large oak dining table next to patio doors leading out to the front garden.

Stairs from the hallway lead up to a spacious master bedroom with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings.

Equipped with a daybed that can be used on request, there is a further twin room and family bathroom on this floor.

On the lower ground floor, you will find a king-size double room and large twin room with double sofa bed that can be used on request equipped with TV and XBox 360, ideal for rainy days.

There is a contemporary shower room and large utility room with plenty of extra space for storing beach gear.

Outside a summerhouse is furnished with table football and table tennis, great for teens to escape to whilst adults retire to the patio for alfresco evenings suppers and round up on the day’s activities.

The vast garden is fully enclosed so plenty of safe space for children to play.

Bantham beach, billed as South Devon’s premier family and surfing beach is shallow and sandy and ideal for young ones to paddle safely.

Watersport tuition and hire is available at the beach so there is no excuse not to have a go!

The area is a delight for walkers with the estuary offering beautiful scenic and country walks from your doorstep.

Thurlestone Golf Course is nearby for those who enjoy a round of golf, and there is a village store that can supply all your needs for a day on the beach and the daily essentials whilst larger shops can be found at nearby Kingsbridge.
