  • "Wonderful stay."

Cherry Lodge is a little gem. Clean, private and well kept. Hot tub a bonus! Very relaxing stay, the local wildlife and the sounds of the animals from the Tropiquaria added to the experience. Thank you to Lloyd and co for a great holiday

  • "This is a super little cottage with everything provided for a great break."

Extremely clean and within a fabulous small holiday site of 8 lodges. This is the smallest cottage on site. The bedroom is compact with a double bed, so if you are used to a king size bed this seems small but we managed fine. The hot tub is gorgeous, well maintained daily and set within a small very private green garden with two sun lounges. There is a rotary dryer too and a fully functioning kitchen including a great washing machine do we washed our own towels mid break as they are not replaced. The site is not far from a small zoo and there are wonderful animal noises especially in the morning to wake you up, including peacocks and gibbons! Would we return? Definately yes! However we would choose a larger lodge next time for that extra space.

  • "Lovely place to stay, me and my partner have spent 4 night here."

We were obsessed with the hot tub and there’s lots of privacy in the garden. The whole site has been looked after very well and I would 100% come back.

  • "The bed was two small for a couple and the mattress was of the bad quality."

Due to the quality of the mattress, me and my wife are experiencing back pain, therefore, I would recommend for the mattress to be changed before any more booking are taken. We also had to checked- out early because we couldn’t continue Bath towels and bed cover won’t replaced at all! (Absolutely disgusting!).

Thank you for your feedback. Customer comments are very important to us and we strive to provide an excellent guest experience for all our Customers The comments and scores that you have given are very out of character for this property as the scores are usually 100% from Customers. The bed is a standard size double bed and has a mattress appropriate to the bed. This is clean and in excellent condition. Everyone has different feedback regarding comfort of beds and furnishings We provide clean towels and bed linen for all Customers for the duration of their stay. As you were there for 4 nights, you received this at the start of your holiday with adequate supplies for the duration Once again, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Property Owner

  • "Very poor quality property."

Very small and uncomfortable. Hot tub was good but was not private at all - completely visible from the site driveway. We had to open the bathroom door when getting out of the shower as no room to dry yourself in the bathroom. The hand basin in the bathroom was a small cloakroom basin and not suitable for a bathroom. The bed a standard double with very little space around it for getting in and out. All the heating was set too low with the exception of the radiator in the bathroom which was red hot and and we had to be careful not to touch it which was difficult because the bathroom was so small. Not enough clothes storage for a week's stay. The only hanging space was in a cupboard with the ironing board, hoover, mop etc. The property was inexpensive but still not value for money - we vacated 2 days early because it was so uncomfortable. Jist to say that we are not big people so our size was not the issue with this property.

Thank you for your feedback. Customer comments are very important and our feedback is always very positive for Cherry Lodge The property has use of a hot tub which is set back from the driveway and in the photographs of the cottage you can see its shielded by a 5ft fence. The property has use of electric central heating. This is always on for Customers when they arrive at the property and can be controlled inside the cottage to obtain the perfect temperature. This is a bijoux property that sleeps 2 people. We do have larger properties available however these are more expensive. Property Owner
