  • "The best most well equipped property we have stayed in, truly superb."

Just a few minor points requiring attention, One 3 seat settee needs some new cushions or refurbishment, The cleaning was adequate, but lacked attention: ie: coffee machine not emptied, water staining around ensuite seals (my partner actually bleached it) refuse disposal directed to site in town, when there is a facility on site, to which we were directed. Smelly lift, we asked to be reported to the facility management company, BUT, it does not detract from the superb facility.

  • "Excellent place to stay - great location, very well equipped and comfortable with good views across Salcombe towards Batson Creek and the hills beyond."

Undercover parking for 2 cars is a bonus. Also, must mention that everyone we met at Coast and Country Cottages were very friendly, helpful and provided a professional service

  • "Excellent accommodation and location."

Seating in main reception not that comfortable for longer periods of sitting. Loads of space with ample parking. Perfectly placed for accessing town centre. Would come again without doubt. Thank you. Also excellent back up from Coast and Country when requested for a couple of minor issues.

  • "Great flat in a good location with good parking…essential in Salcombe!"

Flat was well fitted out, nicely decorated and spacious with everything you need. Could maybe do with a better washer/dryer as very little space to hang things out to dry etc.

  • "The accommodation was perfectly positioned, well presented and had excellent facilities with covered car parking which was a real bonus."

The only one aspect which was disappointing was the level of cleanliness of the flat which given current pandemic concerns was a little disconcerting so the first hour was spent cleaning all surfaces, handles etc with anti bac. It would have been top marks had it not been for this one rather important aspect. They said there was anti bac in the flat and in the main common areas which was reassuring. A great holiday nonetheless will definitely come back Salcombe is delightful.

We very much appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback. We were pleased to read that you enjoyed you stay here at number 14. We were only sorry that the cleanliness of the property upon your arrival was not of standard, this has been passed onto the housekeeping team. We do hope you still enjoyed Salcombe. • "This is a good location ,with a steep decent into the town centre."

Undercover parking is a bonus. Generally the apartment is well equipped but the mattresses need renewing, both double & single were uncomfortable. Bathrooms & heating excellent also good dishwasher & Washing machine. The local office were very helpful & replaced light bulbs in the kitchen & mended a blind which had a string problem. Lockdown etc has effected the eating places & Salcombe had a very end of Summer feel. Takeaway Pizza on Fore Street good as we had to resort to eating in more than we hoped. The Crab Shed fully booked all month. Anyone planning a trip should bear that in mind & book ahead. The car parks were full down in the town ,so if people don't want to climb hills don't go!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We were really pleased to learn that the property was comfortable for your stay and that it provided you with everything you required. Thank you for bringing the comfort of the mattresses to our attention, we have passed this onto the owner. We were sorry you had some difficulty with booking restaurants. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus and the rules around self – isolation, they did not have the capacity to meet the demand. We do hope you still enjoyed Salcombe and look forward to welcoming you back soon. Coast and Country Cottages on behalf of, Property Owner

  • "A lovely, clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment."

Great views of the town and estuary from the balcony. We’ve stayed in almost all of the properties in Combehaven and this is our new favourite. We were fortunate the weather was great too, which helped! Also impressed that everything possible had been done to feel safe in this current time with worries of Covid. So well done to Coast and Country, it was lovely to be back!

  • "As soon as we arrived at the apartment I felt at home and even unpacked my suitcase, which is saying something as I normally just leave my clothes in it."

There was everything we needed., comfortable beds, bathroom and on suite Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sofas. Great views from the balcony of the harbour. Who could ask for more. If there was just one thing it would be the small dining table in the living space. I don’t think it’s needed and blocks the views. Would definitely stay again.

Roomy bedrooms with lots of storage space, which is not always the case. Beautiful view of the estuary from the apartment. Love Salcombe and have used Coast and Country many times over the years.
