“We have rated the cottage highly however we had a number of challenges to overcome which were addressed by Coast & Country but not having a local contact made it much more difficult and less personal to resolve - which has historically been the reason we have used C & C.”
On arrival the external bins were over flowing - we decanted these ourselves, however the scheduled bin collection arrived and did not visit the premises. We reported this and C & C arranged for them to be emptied.
The first evening, we were part way through cooking our evening meal when the electric went out - the food was ruined, no candles were available, and we spent many hours in the dark which isn't ideal as our party included an old age pension, toddler and a property spread over three floors!
Hot water was a problem, many cold showers were taken, C & C provided engineers twice and on the second visit changed the standard settings for heating the water, These settings were not available to us to change ourselves.
The location of the property is superb!
