  • "The house was lovely and in a very good location."

It was very quiet at night, and we all slept well. Blackawton is a small village but the pub was welcoming and had a good menu. Overall this is a great location for a holiday lots of South Devon beaches and towns within 30 mins drive.

  • "Good position, travel to anywhere in the area easy."

Good friendly pub in village. Back door lock needs oiling before someone breaks it. Door mat needed at back door, straight out of garden onto new carpet! Washing machine a mystery. More information about which rubbish in which bin. Wanted to book again for later in year but fully booked, despite price.

Extremely comfortable and well presented. The owner has certainly gone the extra mile to make the bungalow a ‘home from home’ we will definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

In easy reach of Dartmouth and the beaches of Start Bay, the location offers a delightful balance between seclusion and convenience, with a wealth of picturesque walks, welcoming local pubs and more on your doorstep.
