The property

This beautiful little detached cottage nestles in the grounds of a private house, located at the end of a lane on the edge of the village of Mary Tavy, close to Tavistock.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens and grounds, this pretty cottage is the perfect choice for a romantic getaway, thoughtfully styled for two.

The single storey interior comprises of a light, airy kitchen, a homely place to begin your mornings or commence an evening, with little accessories uplifting the room wholeheartedly.

The lounge/diner is equally as beautiful, bright and summery, and brought to life by a comfy sofa and window looking out over the natural garden.

As you settle down at the dining table, why not open up the French doors, to allow in the fresh air and birdsong, reminding you of the calming landscape around you?

The double bedroom continues the fresh vibrant feel, with wooden flooring and an en-suite shower room centred by a contemporary double cubicle.

Outdoors you will be impressed by the sunny gravelled terrace, where there is a café-style table and chairs for pouring morning coffees or perhaps cold drinks after the sun goes down.

At the top of a small flight of steps discover the lawn garden and undercover seating bringing you lovely views whatever the weather may be.

15 minutes walk will take you to the village pub at Mary Tavy.

Just 50 yards from the open moorland of Dartmoor National Park, an abundance of walks can be enjoyed by beautiful flora and fauna with spectacular far-reaching views.

Popular beauty spots nearby include Buckland Abbey, The Garden House and Lydford Gorge.
