  • "The view from the terrace was stunning, despite the inclement weather and a howling gale we remained warm and cosy."

The games room provided a distraction and much competition! Everything we needed was there and some. It made for a memorable Christmas. Thank you.

  • "Whilst the house was beautiful and very comfortable, the grounds were very unkept, very untidy."

Lacked garden maintenance and garden cushion were very dirty and unusable Such a shame, glad it was not in the midst of summer for us..

  • "In almost every respect the best holiday home we have stayed in by the proverbial country mile."

Super spacious facilities, including the well equipped Games room and, of course, the magnificent views. The only very minor drawbacks were an oven that was rather complicated to operate and not as clean as it might have been and the lack of a conventional (non-AGA) hob. We did not come across the small portable hob in a cupboard in the utility room until we were about to leave.

  • "The property is beautiful and in a great location."

It was so clean, easy to get the keys and had lots of things we weren’t expecting to be there. There was a lovely welcome package when we got there which was really thoughtful. Everything feels to a high standard and a lot of care and thought has been put into the property. The bedrooms are all good sized rooms with plenty of storage. There was something for everyone to do and lots j of space to do it. We found that the listing and the pictures undersold how lovely that it is! We had a great time and would definitely consider returning. Definitely recommending to the rest of the family and friends. Thank you for a lovely stay!

  • "This is a truly stunning property, with the most amazing views."

It is soo lovely we had to drag ourselves away to go exploring! The sunny enclosed back garden was a bonus for when the wind got up. We spent many an hour in the games room (again with amazing views). This was a special family holiday to celebrate my mum and dads 60th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been more perfect ..thank you.

It was so big and had plenty of rooms nobody had nothing to do. The location was great and the views were amazing. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and we didn’t need half the cleaning stuff we brought as there was some there. We would 100% go back again.
