Set in the beautiful South Hams area of Devon, within reaching distance of the coast, Bacchus Barn is a charming and traditional barn offering the ultimate getaway for a large family or group of friends.

With characterful features such as exposed stone walls and beautiful beams, this wonderful and spacious dwelling emanates warmth making it the perfect choice for any self-catering stay.

Home to a large kitchen/breakfast room appointed with an abundance of electrical appliances such a double oven, halogen hob and a dishwasher, coffee maker,guests can enjoy cooking up hearty breakfasts and delicious snacks to be enjoyed at the pretty rustic dining table and enjoy the rural views over the hills.

The restful sitting/dining room is a great place to relax and unwind with friends by the heat of the cosy woodburning stove, before gathering at the sociable dining table and delighting in a fantastic evening feast.

Take the small steps from the sitting room to be greeted by four lovely bedrooms consisting of a king-size, a children's room with bunk beds and a single bed, a family room featuring a king size, a single and an en suite, and a twin bedded room with two single beds.

The ground floor is then complete with an airy family bathroom, where you can while away the hour with a long soak in the tub or a rejuvenating shower whilst your towel keeps nice and warm on the heated rail.

Bolberry is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a peaceful countryside holiday location, close to the sea, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With stunning walking routes along the South West Coast Path to unspoilt beaches at Soar Mill Cove and Hope Cove, make the most of both coast and countryside. The recently renovated Ocean Reach restaurant and bar is a must visit destination in Bolberry, with stunning sea views and locally sourced food. Take advantage of the beautiful scenic coastline, by walking to Salcombe, via the popular East Soar Outdoor Experience, with a delightful barn on the headland, just above picturesque Salcombe, providing an ideal opportunity to indulge in delicious homemade cakes and cosy warm drinks, as well as outdoor education for kids. Alternatively, Hope Cove is only 8-10 minutes’ drive away, and Salcombe just a 12-15 minute car journey.
