  • "We had a fabulous stay."

The property was very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The bedrooms were lovely and each has it's own bathroom, and we loved the spacious living areas. The owners had left fresh flowers and a basket of easter eggs which was a lovely touch. The whole place felt comfortable and luxurious. Would definitely recommend.

  • "The Old Coach House was excellent."

The whole family enjoyed our stay there from our grandchildren (6,6,9 & 10) and their parents to myself and my wife. The house was extremely comfortable, it had just about everything we could wish to have. There were plenty of cups, crockery and cutlery for all twelve of us. we didn't use the laundry room, so I can't comment on that but the kitchen was great; two large ovens, brilliant induction hob, gas wok ring, large sink and a surprising instant hot water tap. The garden area contained a hot tub that was used daily and a large picnic table for twelve when the weather is warmer. Also the 'Crab Shack' was a great surprise, i'll say no more. The drive was big enough to get 4 cars on. Ok there may have been a bit of shuffling of cars at times but no one found it to be a problem. We chatted with the owners (next door) who were friendly and helpful. I can't recommend The Old Coach House highly enough.

  • "Very nice house."

We had not realised from the photo that it was so close to other houses. The parking bit difficult. As such a big house catering for so many, one would expect a few cars. Only room for 3 and have to shunt around a lot to get out. Otherwise all good!

Dear Susan We’re glad you liked our house. The property is close to the village centre and does have houses around it as shown in the photos. There is off road parking for 3 cars as stated in the property description, or plenty on the road. Hope to see you again. The Owners Property Owner

  • "The Owners were friendly and helpful."

The house is so well appointed and the owners have really thought about what the guest might need. We loved the location. Lots of lovely things to do and places to see just a short drive away. The hot tub was a real plus too! Thank you for making our stay so lovely. We would love to stay again.

  • "A lovely comfortable modern house with the added amenity of the hot tub."

The property was enjoyed by all especially as it was a last minute choice. It's close proximity to the coast was ideal, along with country walks in all directions. A highly recommendable property and welcoming owners. Thank you.

  • "Accurate listing and very well equipped house in an amazing location."

Could do with a hand blender and mixer for cooking/making soup but otherwise spot on! Nice to have owners next door who were v helpful. We had a fantastic happy 60th Birthday celebration hols.

  • "The facilities and space were fantastic but I've downgraded because of the dishes and glasses."

The plates and bowls were extremely heavy - we could only carry 3 or 4 at a time. The wine glasses were too tall to fit in the dishwasher and I think should be replaced for conventional size glasses. I also recommend that you suggest approaching the house from the west end of the road as the shorter route from the east is very narrow and blocks easily. Apart from these issues the house exceeded expectations.

  • "We had an amazing time, the house was excellent, perfect location for town."

Only suggestion would be to have some loungers/deckchairs for casual seating in the garden. Such a lovely space to relax in.

  • "The house is lovely."

... very comfortable and roomy and very well equipped. The photos on the web site do not do it justice ....inside is homely, quirky, modern, well decorated and thought out. Owners next door are friendly and very helpful, suggesting places to visit.

  • "The house was lovely and the owner Paul was very pleasant and helpful."

The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and everything was pristine. It all made our family get together very enjoyable - we especially liked the hot tub, but also found the kitchen/diner/lounge the ideal place to congregate both in the day and in the evening. The house location was very convenient for the village shops and restaurants. We enjoyed a take-away from Squires chip shop plus excellent meals from the Riverside restaurant and At One Dining Room. Braunton is served well with dining options. The area is beautiful, we would especially recommend the nearest beach - Saunton Sands - on the way to Croyde (another lovely sandy beach).
