  • "A really lovely relaxing holiday, great location with wonderful views."

Well maintained. New pool area brilliant but would be better if it was open until at least 6pm/7pm so you could go for a swim and a drink after a day out. Spacious comfortable lodge with loads of storage. Only negative is there was hardly any kitchen equipment meaning you had to keep washing up instead of using dishwasher. We had family staying nearby and there wasn’t really enough plates etc to feed 8. Double the amount of crockery/ cups needed and a salad and fruit bowl etc.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed a relaxing holiday, appreciated the location and views, and found the lodge spacious and comfortable. We’re pleased that you enjoyed the new pool area and appreciate your suggestion regarding extending the opening hours — this is certainly something we will take into consideration. We’re sorry to hear that the kitchen equipment did not fully meet your needs. We have now reviewed and addressed this situation to help ensure better service and more suitable provisions for larger visiting groups in the future. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable stay. Kind regards, The Riviera Bay Team Property Owner

  • "A great property, a nice quiet site with sea views."

Ideal for a short walk into Brixham (fairly steep hill) while being far enough away for peace and quiet. Would definitely consider staying again and recommending.

Thank you for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful setting, sea views, and the convenient location close to Brixham while still being able to relax in quiet surroundings. We really appreciate your recommendation and would be very happy to welcome you back for another stay in the future. Property Owner

  • "A very comfortable and well equipped lodge on a well maintained park, with great sea views."

The park is only a short distance from the South West coast path, which makes for some lovely walks. It's about a 20 minute walk down into Brixham and if you need help getting back up the bus stops right by the site entrance.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you found the lodge comfortable, well equipped, and enjoyed the sea views. It’s great to know you appreciated the park’s location for walks along the South West Coast Path, as well as the easy access into Brixham and convenient bus service back to the site. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards The Riviera Bay Team Property Owner

  • "Lacked i.e tea towel, welcome pack which we are used to holidaying with Skye's, pint of milk on arrival, hover unusable due to being full and gave of horrid smell, filters where totally blocked, this showed when trying to hoover the carpets covered in hair."

Light required on steps to lodge outside as site extremely dark at this time of the Year. Shocked at Wi-Fi not being secure. Fabulous location & clean site.

BRIXHAM

Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
