  • "EXCELLENT ALL round - great location, well equipped to a very high standard, well laid out a very beautiful home - the only downside was we had to leave!"

    Will definitely return though

  • "We absolutely loved the cottage."

The only thing I want to mention is the sofas. Looked lovely but not very comfortable. Everything else was exactly as we’d hoped. Such a pretty, cosy cottage in a peaceful and pretty spot so close to the town. Would love to visit again.

  • "Lovely, peaceful, very high standard of accommodation."

Clean with lots of information about appliances heating etc. cosy and comfortable two bathrooms, short walk into Lyme a bit of a hill to the car park which was no problem to us and you can park nearby to unload your car. Would love to retire somewhere like this and would recommend to friends and family.

Glad you had a comfortable stay! Thank you for your recommendation. Property Owner

  • "Lymbrook Cottage is a superb place to stay when visiting Lyme Regis."

The car park that you utilise the parking permit for is only five minutes walk away, with the town and sea a further five. A good choice of eateries and shops abound in the town. The cottage is the star of the show however, with its cleanliness, warmth, comfort and attention to detail. The owner has done a particularly good job of supplying facilities and all the information that you need. It is certainly been one of the best that we have used and we would recommend it wholeheartedly to any of our friends. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you much for this detailed feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed the cottage and your comments will be helpful to future visitors. Property Owner

  • "Lovely position, very quiet except for the sound of the stream!"

We enjoyed our stay but we felt it was too expensive. We are disenchanted with the town we love. The holiday homes have spoilt the town, that now has no services for the people who are residents. And everything is over priced.

We are from the older generation 80+ so would just pass comment on a couple of minor things. The step down to the downstairs bathroom would benefit from some form of marker for awareness sake.Struggled with TV access instructions(we admit to being behind the times in tech terms) but we’re helped by your office. None of this spoiled the lovely quiet haven of peace.Great stay Anne King

Apologies for the late response. We have totally taken your comments on board. There are now several signs and tape to indicate the step to the bathroom. The TV facilities have been upgraded - upstairs and down. Your return would be most welcome! Property Owner
