  • "Lovely property, didn’t realise it was up such a steep hill but didn’t spoil our time in Lyme."

Thank you for the lovely welcome pack.

  • "Great little house."

Everything we needed was available. The walk down to the main shops and beach of Lyme Regis was a little beyond my 10 yr old, 7 yr old and elderly dog (well the walk back up the hill!) but other than that, great. We just used the car a little more than usual.

Dog proof garden which was important for us. Nice quiet neighbourhood.. A good base for exploring the Dorset/Devon area.

Loved the garden - we were blessed with great weather so enjoyed breakfast in the garden every day. Lovely sea views from the top floor.

Everything you could need. Great enclosed garden, especially enjoyed by our dog! Close to lots of nice places to visit. When we had a problem with the internet , staff in the office were very helpful. Would recommend the property to others.

  • "Property was comfortable & well equipped, Description & photos were accurate."

Was a little dusty but not of any great concern. Whilst it was a dog friendly holiday let, there weren’t that many fields / green areas nearby to walk dogs. Main let down was that the keys were not in the key safe by Lyme Bay holidays. This was disappointing after a long drive. Out of hours service quickly rectified this

  • "Location was a 20 minute walk into Lyme Regis which was ideal for us (steep hill on way back but river walk for most of the way)."

The property states dog friendly, however, there are steps up to the front door and steps out of back door. No grass in the garden just lots of terracing, decking and large pebbles. The cleaning was barely adequate, there was dust on all the radiators and the heated towel rails (and they are rusting), we found a sock in one of the bedrooms. Although I had booked for 5 people there were only towels for 4! Had to wash the plates, cups, glasses and pans before we used them. Managed to work out how to use the TV. The only instructions available in the property were regarding stripping the beds at the end of our stay. No recycling! In summary the location was good but the house needs some TLC and a good clean.

I'm sorry to hear that you experienced some issues during your stay and you felt the cleanliness did not meet our usual standards. As a local agent we have our own team who are happy to attend to any issues arising during a booking with the intention to resolve in order for guests to enjoy their holiday, and if you do stay at one of our properties again, please do contact us if you need our assistance. • "We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this townhouse property, that was full of lovely pictures and quirky elements that gave a really homely feel."

The beds were very comfortable, the garden well secured for our dogs and it was wonderful watching the sunrise over the sea from our bedroom window. The location is really quiet and ideal for making the most of Lyme Regis, although we did drive into town and park instead of attempting the uphill walk! The welcome pack was a nice touch too. We would certainly stay here again.

  • "Bit dismayed when we got there, house was quite shabby and needed a coat of paint throughout."

The kitchen had so much stuff on the counter, I had to put things into cupboards to make some workspace. I had to wash the cutlery and clean the cutlery tray as was dirty and full of crumbs. The information pack did not give the correct code to use the internet. When I had sorted the above out, we really enjoyed it. I think the advertised 15 minutes walk to the beach was incorrect and return journey more like 45,
