  • "Excellent location, just open the back gate and you’re in Langmoor Gardens and you can see the sea."

Just out the front is the High Street! Also, the car space is just outside and is secure behind an electric gate. The apartment is spacious with a lounge, kitchen and dining area. There’s a Juliet balcony with a view out to sea. The apartment is nicely furnished in an eclectic style which we enjoyed. The main double bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a bath with shower. Great place to stay!

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "Lovely apartment."

Central location. Very quiet and great sea view from the lounge. Handy parking spot allocated with apartment. Nice to have a welcome pack with coffee, tea and some goodies. Also, basics like milk and washing up liquid provided. Comfy beds and spotless clean. Only slight niggle was the price over bank holiday weekend very high. We had to check out at 10am and did intend leaving the car for an hour to have a final walk on the sea front. But at 1005 the cleaners were waiting and wanted the car parking spot to park in.They were very nice but it meant we had to cancel our walk and ended up heading home early! Felt it was a bit early given the price we paid. But still had a wonderful time and would recommend the apartment

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so pleased you had a great stay. Sorry to hear about the final walk. Hopefully we get to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "Good location with bonus of secure parking, but "vintage " furniture not comfortable, especially the old wooden dining chairs ( one had been poorly repaired with wood glue)."

Also far too many "vintage" glass ornaments ,glasses and crockery- not necessary and a breakage hazard! The double bed mattress also needs replacing - springs poking through in places. BUT if it was appropriately " holiday let" furnished, it would be ideal for a Lyme Regis holiday.

Thank you for your feedback. The owner has provided a new double mattress to ensure continued guest comfort. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "The apartment is modern, fantastically located and car parking is straightforward."

However the issue is the furnishings, beds and bedding excepted. Everything else in the property is a mish mash of items collected from second hand shops , junk shops and maybe local auctions. The owners are proud of this as indicated in the house book. To give 2 examples , the furniture is very uncomfortable , this is the reason that the sofa had been moved on and crockery and cutlery are what your parents or grandparents would have discarded decades ago. All of this is fine in that owners can furnish a property as they want. However if they then choose to rent their property out they need to understand that not everyone will share their approach. How Sykes can describe it as excellent is beyond me. We have been going to holiday lets half a dozen times a year for a number of years and have never encountered anything like this.

Thank you for your feedback. Lyme time was a family holiday home, thoughtfully furnished over many years. Many of the items in the apartment were purchased from Lyme's great local gallery's, shops and craftsmen. We used inspiration from these local traders, our travels and stays in unique properties to create a uniquely stylish property. It is intentionally eclectic with the aim to be comfortable and inviting for all seasons of Lyme. I am sorry it wasn’t what you expected, we will use your feedback to improve our offering for future guests. Property Owner

  • "The flat was beautiful, once we could get in it."

Keys were not in safe lock as described. This was resolved within an hour. Location was good with easy access to beach. Unfortunately, holiday was spoiled and we left early due to loud drilling noise from maintenance work in flat above. This intruded our planned relaxing lie ins, so much so, that on 3rd morning, we left a day early. If we had been informed of works we would not have booked the flat

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about the troubles getting access to the key, we will certainly look into improving that with LBH. I am also sorry about the unexpected noise, we will work with our neighbours to be able to give guests more information about such things. We do hope you stay with us again. Property Owner

  • "Was a great holiday."

Apartment was so nice, if I’m being picky would’ve liked a microwave. The location was fab we loved walking through the gardens every day to the beach. Lyme Regis itself was lovely not crazy busy and quaint little roads and shops.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and sharing feedback. We will look into adding the microwave. Hope to see you again! Property Owner
