• "The property was clean, but very tired looking ."

  The sofas were so uncomfortable. There is only one TV limited channels I think it needs re tuning.The WiFi in welcome book is wrong we found it on router. The kitchen cupboard are falling apart. Fridge is not good. No blinds on bedroom, we woke up at 5.45 am everyday,and directly peers into neighbours garden so keep curtains shut. Shower is bad small head and door feels like it may come off . Garden is just a courtyard. The only good thing is very close to beech and town with parking for one car . Second bedroom is tiny not really big enough for more than two adults.

• "Our second stay at Woodmead Cottage."

  ..perfect for us as a couple. We have enjoyed staying here so much, that we will probably try to re-book again next year. The cottage, small garden and parking are all splendid...most enjoyable. There are two, minor maintenance issues...both plumbing...neither of which spoiled our holiday, but which do need your attention: 1) The radiators need bleeding and/or flushing through...the bathroom radiator barely heats up at all, the top two thirds remaining stone cold. A chilly, damp bathroom and wet towels are not good! 2) The toilet cistern continually flushed on several occasions, defying attempts to stop it.

• "Woodmead is a lovely cottage in a good position in Lyme-Regis."

  The cottage was clean & well presented. The kitchen could do with a better fridge, the half shelf really needs to be a full shelf. Some of the cupboards could do with combining so more room for groceries to be stored. The smaller bedroom would be too small for 2 children particularly in bad weather week. Most disappointing was the outside area , very small & always in the shade. Finally we assume the owners were the older couple who were frequently the garden. It proved very difficult for privacy & resulted in us closing curtains alot during the day. It should be mentioned in the details of the property that other people will be so close particularly in the back garden which kitchen overlooks. Also, apologies if we could not find it but welcome pack of information not apparent. Lovely welcome goodies.

  We're pleased that you enjoyed the majority of the facilities at the cottage. We do mention on our website that the garden has a path providing access to another small garden for another apartment, so apologies if the garden space didn't afford you the privacy that you sought during your stay. • "1- dog hair found on the bottom bunk bed 2- gate latch was found hanging off on arrival to the property had to contact maintenance."

  3- plates in kitchen chipped 4- kitchen was poorly fitted 5- cupboard above double bed are out dated and want removing 6- cottage smelt musty 7- patio furniture worn and tatty 8- great location, good parking 9- nicely decorated lounge

• "Our second visit to Woodmead Cottage (somewhat more expensive 9 years on!"

  ). Handy for walking to the sea front etc. Ideal for the two of us but might be a struggle for four. The welcome pack was lovely!
