The property

With green, verdant fields and rolling pastures encircling the family farmstead near the village of Yealmpton, is Stable Barn, a delightful cottage with an alternative layout and open-plan living space.

Climb up to the property via the external spiral staircase and through the wooden stable door, where you will be received by a beautifully carpeted interior in an elegant, plush grey hue, backed by stone walls.

The kitchen is fashionably styled with glossy grey units and contemporary fixtures contrasting with the traditional feel of the space.

Meander through to the first floor double room which uplifts rustic barn-style features, complimenting a high apex vaulted ceiling with fresh colour schemes and smart en suite shower room.

These characterful attributes continue down to the lower ground floor, where you will find a modern bathroom and a very spacious family room comprising a king size double and two singles with a zip/link option.

Step out onto the balcony terrace from the sitting room or down to the well-maintained garden and enjoy the farmland environment, occasionally interrupted by the clucking sounds of a chicken or the pleasant comings and goings of the family next door.

Just a couple of miles away rests the small village of Yealmpton, on the eastern edge of Plymouth with a curious church, good pubs and organic farm shops.

Heading further north, discover the vibrant amenities in Plymouth, boasting quality restaurants, art galleries and a deep maritime history.

Many attractions await you, from exciting boat trips and watersports to entertainment at the Royal Theatre and vasts amounts of beaches and outstanding countryside beauty.
