"Had a lovely holiday, the hot tub was amaizing."
On booking we didn't realize that we cudnt take our dog on the beach which was a bit annoying , normally there are sections that are dog friendly without driving to one. So for that reason we wudnt stay at Burnham on Sea again.

"In entry immediately noticed the gate does not lock and was a cut down fence panel, thus insecure."
The slabs are extremely slippery, my grandson slipped even with crocs on. Why no washing machine? Having up to 7 people able to stay here, I would consider this a necessity. Kitchen chairs and bench legs loose. Sofa stinks of animals we had to vacuum it before we used it and this made it smell even worse, requires attention. How can you have a strict policy on animals staying downstairs and not go on furniture without having a living room door to prevent this? Shower drains water slowly due to blockage outside drain. If the birds don’t wake you up then the light coming through the windows will (blinds don’t block out much light) and if that doesn’t wake you the hardest mattresses in the world will along with the cheapest duvets, pillows etc.,. My daughter and her family had to leave earlier because they weren’t getting much sleep. The only positive is the hot tub helped rid the back pain from the terrible nights sleep.
The patio tiles are non-slip rated the same as used around swimming pools but as with all surfaces can become slippery when wet especially if running around on them. We’re not sure what you mean by the cut fence panel, it’s a gate that matches the fences and it has a clasp on it to shut it, for safety purposes we would not padlock the entrance gate. We don’t say in the listing that we have a washing machine, we find most guests just want to enjoy their holiday, but there are several launderettes in Burnham and our cleaning/maintenance team could have been contacted during your stay if you needed help finding one or for any other maintenance or cleaning issues during your stay. The property is fully cleaned and inspected by our professional cleaning team and there are no drain blockages, again if you have blocked a drain or have any issues our cleaners are able to be contacted. The house has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. We love the birds in the morning, the property is in Somerset, we are surrounded by countyside and there are several local parks, the beach and nature reserves near us – you’ll need to stick to inner city escapes if you can’t stand the noise of countryside wildlife. Our cleaners could also have shown you how to use the window blinds if you were having difficulties closing them. We have had many responsible pet owners that have stayed at the property and had a great time with their pets. We love dogs, they’re part of the family, but we do ask that guests have house trained their pets and have some basic training and control over them both in the property and garden and for respect to our neighbours. Our mattresses are all emma memory foam, we do understand that beds are personal choice, many guests have said how good the beds are, but they don’t have the same bounce as a sprung mattress if this is what you were expecting – we prefer to leave any bouncing up to the guests. Thank you for your review, we'll look to make improvements and we hope in the future you can find a property more suited to your needs.

"Lovely property."
Very clean and very well equipped. Loved all the movie posters. Hot tub was so relaxing. Very good outdoor space.
Only negative to us was lack of bedside tables and cheap quality bedding. Otherwise 10/10. Would recommend.

"We had a relaxing Easter break at Seabar."
The house was lovely and well-furnished. We did find the beds a little firm but that's just personal choice. The bedrooms were all of great size.
We made good use of the hot-tub and also the lounge with its huge TV.
An electric toothbrush charging point would have been handy. Also we couldn't use the barbecue as it hadn't been cleaned. However the house itself was spotless and well-maintained.

"The house was fabulous and so lovely to arrive to see it all dressed for Christmas - a lovely touch."
All spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
As we were there for a full week and used the hot tub a lot it would have been good to have had the means to test and dose the water as it did start to get a bit murky on last day. We're former hot tub owners so understand how this is done, but appreciate that chemicals probably can't be left.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Great location, perfect for pubs, restaurants and buses.
We had four adults and a guide dog in our party and there's plenty of space for us all.
The hot tub was well used and a great addition to the well layed out garden.
Kitchen had all we needed.
Thank you for making our stay a happy family holiday.

The property was clean and tidy, very comfortable and was a great base for us to revisit Burnham-on-Sea. The beds were comfortable as was the sofa. The kitchen had everything we needed and ample storage space. The shower was really nice.

"We contacted your selves several times and are still waiting for a reply."
The property had some kind of infestation of flys in one of the main bedrooms which made the room un-usable. We sent photos of the situation but still nothing. We tried to deal with the situation our selves with fly spray but they just kept coming.
This issue really ruined the holiday and overshadowed any positive comments we may have had. We were due to stay Saturday to Saturday. But after much upset left the property on the Wednesday. A very upsetting and disappointing experience.

"Lovely clean house with good facilities."
Could have done with a washing machine as we were a young family with a messy toddler.
Good outside space with bbq and hot tub.
Nice walks close by for the dogs.
Only problem I came across was the waste pipe for the dishwasher and sink wasn’t plumbed into a drain, it finished above a drain, meaning the water wouldn’t flow into the drain and flood the patio with hot water. When you have a toddler this isn’t good.

"Lovely, spotlessly clean house that felt welcoming the moment we arrived."
The space in the secure back garden is spot on for us and our two dogs. The hot tub was a bonus as were the little extra touches around the house. There were only the two of us on this particular break but I can see us returning with other members of the family. There is plenty to do around the area and we have only scratched the surface this time. :)

"Great house, good condition, very clean."
The owners have included everything you could need in the kitchen, though we struggled to make the hob work, but that could be user error!
Great location, short walk to the beach and town, which was really nice

The hot tub is amazing as is the garden. It's only a 6 minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend Sykes and Sandbar property.
