The property

This chocolate-box, thatched cottage rests in the heart of Chagford, engulfed by a patchwork of lush green fields swamping Dartmoor National Park.

Blackberry Cottage is ideal for romantic couples or a small family looking to explore a wonderful region of Devon.

Beautifully restored, with low beams and heritage colours blending perfectly with the original features, this cottage oozes character from head-to-toe.

Enter from the pavement right into the beautiful lounge, where warm colours and plush furnishings soothingly enhance your stay.

The pretty, modern fabrics and Sisal carpet add a cosy feel inside, as the woodburner glows within the stone inglenook of the room.

Step up to the galley-style kitchen, the contemporary colours and considered lighting will uplift your mood each morning as you head down to prepare breakfast.

Upstairs two bedrooms await a peaceful night's rest, accompanied by a neutrally designed shower room.

Enjoy the moments you spend together dining in the conservatory.

This light-filled room is decorated with fairy lights draped across the solid oak timber frames of the dual-aspect windows, created by a local artisan, allowing the delights of the garden to creep in.

Stroll through the patio doors one lazy afternoon and enjoy the sunny garden over a picnic.

Explore the moorland right from your doorstep; Dartmoor National Park is packed with activities including rare wildlife and ancient history waiting to be discovered.

There are shops and pubs in the immediate town surrounding you, and slightly further afield is the bustling city of Exeter, with plenty more shopping opportunities and vibrant culture to delve into.
