    “We love Pineapple Cottage and we love Sonia!”

    The cottage has a great location for central Chagford, but it still feels secluded and quiet, considering it's on one of the 'main' roads. All the facilities in the cottage are excellent, making it feel very home from home.

All the facilities in the cottage are excellent, making it feel very home from home. Sonia is so welcoming and cannot do enough to make everything comfortable and welcoming.

This dear little cottage for two is just 50 yards from the shops and pubs in the small town square of Chagford.

With stylish décor, it is a magical retreat for couples.

From the hall, steps take you down into the sitting room, prettily arranged with good furniture and pictures.

Up the stairs, the double bedroom is a romantic room with steps up to your bathroom with its old fashioned roll-top bath.

Stroll up to the centre of Chagford to browse the inters’ cottage garden where you have your own peaceful area with furresting independent shops, head down to the famous river lido in summer months or marvel at the country house splendour at National Trust Castle Drogo.

Beyond the town are the open spaces of Dartmoor, perfect for walking and sightseeing, and footpaths beside the River Teign.

The cathedral city of Exeter is just 17 miles away.

Okehampton 12 miles; Exeter 21 miles.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. Chagford, one of the five Stannary towns of Dartmoor, is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure. It is a town of great history, home to the Three Crowns Hotel which dates back to the 1200's. Chagford is well known for its culture, hosting film, literary and music festivals in the town as well as an annual running race, known as Two Hills Race. Just over 21 miles away is the bustling, beautiful city of Exeter for a different kind of break, definitely worth a visit. The charming, attractive town of Okehampton sits just 12 miles away.
