  • "This was a great cottage, excellent facilities with a high-spec kitchen and everything you could have wanted."

We loved the open-plan living space, which worked really well and the location was excellent for exploring the area. Chudleigh itself was small but had all of the amenities you would need. The local pubs were great, everyone was friendly and welcoming, and we ate locally at the Phoenix, which was definitely worth the visit, the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place as a great base.

Thank you for your positive feedback and visitor comments, we are pleased you liked the cottage and all it has to offer. Also that you enjoyed the local pubs and Phoenix restaurant, its a big bonus having these facilities close by without the need to drive. Chudleigh is indeed a compact and friendly town centrally placed for touring Dartmoor and the coastal resorts of South Devon. We hope we can welcome you for another stay in the future. • "This is a beautiful cottage with a great attention to detail."

Very clean and everything you would need in a kitchen. Lovely open plan living space with comfortable furnishings and so many different lighting options. Loved the bubble pics on the wall, We struggled a bit with Chudleigh for food at the weekend at the pubs were closed Sunday through to Monday/Tuesday. The local spar did fabulous posh ready meals, so worth a visit. Enjoyable stay and would recommend the cottage.

Thank you for your feedback and so pleased you found the cottage to your liking. The opening hours of local pubs and restaurants were indeed a bit erratic during your stay due to the Covid Pandemic, however pleased to say that in accordance with Government guidelines things have since improved and a new restaurant (Highwayman's Haunt) has also opened nearby. Appreciate your comments on the wall art, our daughter since followed up her interest in macro photography by joining the NHS as a opthalmic photographer. Hope you choose to visit us again on Chudleigh some time in the future. Jim & Lin Property Owner

  • "Fantastic place to stay clean and tidy, very spacious with top of the range facilities seems no expense spared."

Nice welcoming pack. Good to be able to park right outside the door. This is a new let and the only thing I could recommend is some screening on the railings for a little more privacy. But would definitely stay here again.
