  • "No 12 is a lovely property in a fantastic location with amazing views of the harbour."

It was very clean and well equipped. We were guests in February and the house was warm and comfortable, with the front patio a lovely area for breakfast. Watching the boats come and go was so relaxing, we were also lucky enough to see a pair of seals and a pod of dolphins in the harbour. We were a party of 5 and there was plenty of space, and some of the family were working from home, there were no problems with the internet. Brixham is a lovely town with plenty to do and some lovely walks. I would definitely recommend no 12 and hope to return.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Views were fab; spent a lot of time by the windows. Had everything we needed and ideal for exploring the area. Will hopefully be back.

  • "It is a lovely cosy cottage with absolutely stunning views a real home from home, the only things which would improve a stay here in all of our opinions would be a tumble dryer and better WiFi as we did struggle with this a little."

  • "Lovely house,great views."

The steps to get to the property are not suitable for pushchairs as they are old and not level. Parking is a nightmare, apart from paying £35 a week for the use of the car park at the bottom of the hill, you can only park your car for 2 hours, except in 2 roads which never have spaces. Being a fisherman's cottage the ceilings are low so not ideal for the taller person

  • "This was the first time we had rented a cottage in the UK and we loved it!"

The cottage and its views were even better than in the photos. We were very lucky to have Mediterranean-like weather and Brixham was a perfect base. The House Information pack was excellent and helped a lot as there was so much to do - we took our e-bikes and had great cycles to Coleton Fishacre, Greenway and Broadsands and drove to Blackpool Sands, Totnes and Dartmouth. We visited Torquay using the ferry and got the bus back and also walked the coastal path to Berry Head and Fishcombe Cove. Hopefully next time the Shoalstone Lido will be open!

  • "The view from this wonderful cottage are second to none, truly breathtaking."

The cottage has all that you could want from a holiday let - it had every extra that you can think of. We had an issue with the television which didn't seem to be able to connect to the internet, however this didn't bother us as we all had our Ipads, Laptops on which to watch what we wanted when we had the time. I would highly recommend this wonderful cottage - although the steps may be a little too much for those less able and cannot wait to book again. Fantastic.

  • "The location completely ‘wowed’ us."

The views were amazing and the cottage had everything we needed. We were in walking distance of all we needed and there was more than enough to do and explore, including beautiful coves and beaches. Plenty of places to eat and local shops to get what we needed. We were lucky enough to have lovely weather. We enjoyed it so much, that we will be returning next year.

  • "Lovely cosy cottage, very nicely decorated, with everything we needed for a week."

Throws, dog treats and telescope welcome little touches. Fantastic views and the cottage is within very easy walking distance of harbour shops, pubs and restaurants. We always managed to park on the road nearby, although it was January so might not be so easy in August! Would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to friends and family.
