A utility room is a great place for depositing damp dogs and coats.
From the hall, stairs take you up to the three bedrooms with their country style wood floors and fabulous views from the double over the surrounding peaceful fields and moors, plus a bathroom.
Outside, head up the sloping path shared with the friendly neighbour to steps up to your terrace with bench for enjoying the balmy Devon sun.
To the side and rear of the cottage, within a hedge, is more garden with lawn and patio, a lovely spot for children to play on the swing and with the outdoor toys or to enjoy outdoor meals at the table and chairs.
With a natural river plunge pool, a prehistoric stone row and Shilstone Tor within a mile, as well as a good food pub in a nearby hamlet, this is a relaxing spot for exploring Dartmoor on foot, by bike or on horseback.
Okehampton and Chagford have good town facilities, or Exeter’s cathedral city is just 18 miles away.
