“Cosy Bright Cottage.”
Have just returned from a holiday at Cedar Cottage. As other reviewers have said, very spacious, lovely hot shower, comfy bed, and a great garden, with view, to enjoy a few drinks after a long day walking along the coastal path. Cream tea was greatly appreciated on arrival. However, unlike other reviews, Cottage could have been cleaner. Tried to vacuum place on arrival, but had to contact housekeeper, as hose was completely blocked! This may sound trivial, but, as a dog friendly Cottage, you want to keep it clean. But problem was quickly resolved. That aside, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Small shop in Woolsery Village, be warned, very expensive. Good coastal walks, make use of the info in Cottage, two small fold up maps, were brilliant. Have never seen a more detailed and easy to use map! Would recommend this Cottage to anyone.
Just a footnote. Why is it that you have a dog friendly place, with signs all around asking you to tidy/clean up after your dog, but no dog bins are provided? You are supposed to put all rubbish in Black sack. Would not want to do that, might make Cottage a bit smelly! This is not the only place we have noticed this. Don’t let this put you off, though..
