    The barn is very nice in general. Some surfaces we a bit dusty and the kitchen facilities are a little dated.

The property

Holmfield Barn is a delightful detached stone barn set in a quiet picturesque hamlet in the South Sands valley.

This superb home is furnished to a high standard throughout and views of the countryside can be enjoyed from most rooms.

Stone steps lead down to the main entrance door.

The large, welcoming hallway leads into a fully fitted oak kitchen and dining room with seating for eight guests.

A Continue through Loddiswell village towards Kingsbridge and after approximately 2 miles turn right at the crossroads (Sorley Cross) and continue towards and through the village of Churchstow.

At the next roundabout (Bantham Cross) take the 1st exit signposted for Salcombe.

Continue and then turn right towards Thurlestone (and signs for the Thurlestone Hotel) following the lane to the end.

At the junction turn right (almost straight on) into a further lane and continue for a mile or so to the outskirts of the village - look out for a left turn into 'Court Park', just before the 'Welcome To Thurlestone' sign. Take the left into Court Park and continue downhill and around to the right into the 'Mead' estate.

Continue over the cattle grid into Mead Drive and take the first right immediately onto Mead Lane.

Once on Mead Lane again take the first right signposted for Old Rectory Gardens and Landpath.

Take the second turning on this road signposted Old Rectory Garden and follow this road for about 50 yards and the property right at the top of this lane. Key Collection: Keys can be collected from a key safe located to the right of the front door on the back wall.
