The property

Situated on the outskirts of Combe Martin centre, Beech Cottage is a beautiful, single-storey cottage surrounded by Devon's stunning countryside.

Sleeping two guests with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the views, the cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway for two.

Beech Cottage has classic stone walls and traditional touches, whilst the interior has been tastefully renovated.

After a day exploring the local area, the sitting room is a lovely spot with wooden beams, a sofa and armchair to relax with a movie on the large TV, before rustling up dinner in the kitchen/diner; here you will find all the amenities needed, plus a quaint table for two next to a window, providing picturesque views over breakfast even on a rainy day.

Guests have access to the nearby garage where there is a freezer, washing machine and extra storage space.

To the left of the kitchen, you will find a charming double bedroom to unpack your belongings and make yourself at home, where there is also an en-suite bathroom for a relaxing bubble bath or an energizing shower to kick-start your day.

Beech Cottage has a spacious garden with lawn and patio areas looking out onto open countryside, where you can sit at the outdoor seating with a refreshing glass of wine in the evening sun.

Combe Martin has a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafés to try and sights to see, such as the popular Wild Pear Beach.

Ilfracombe is a lovely town to the north west, which is popular for sport enthusiasts, where you can cycle the Tarka Trail, or walk the paths through the countryside, as well as the Ilfracombe Museum and Aquarium.

Barnstaple is a pretty, ancient market town to the south, offering walking trails to take in the 17th century architecture, with the history of the area illustrated in the Barnstaple museum.

Heading further west takes you to Croyde; visit National Trust Baggy Point, an easy access walk, or head to the beach for surfing and relaxing, followed by a well-earned lunch in one of Croyde's pubs.

Beech Cottage is a wonderful dwelling ideally located for discovering North Devon's outstanding coast.
