  • "Great week away in early August."

Met by friendly owner with good local information. Studio was compact as anticipated but had everything you needed, very well designed. Bed and seating area very comfortable. Good location to travel out to different destinations, would recommend.

  • "The studio apartment is in an excellent location."

It is in a lovely village with The Foxhound Inn a five minute walk away. A very welcoming country pub which serves first class food! There is a bus stop just over the road which will get you into Plymouth town centre in 20 minutes and you are a short drive away from some beautiful beaches. The place itself is privately gated offset from the road. It was spacious, clean and had everything you could possibly need for a get away for two. Dave the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! Wine and chocolate on arrival was a nice touch and great appreciated.

  • "We very much enjoyed our stay in the Northlands Studio, it was very clean and Jackie was really helpful in replying to my query prior to our visit explaining the cleaning regime."

. The bed/sofa were very comfortable always an important part of relaxing when away. Dave quickly sorted a problem with the internet and we enjoyed having a outside sitting area for our coffee. Thank you for a well presented, very clean, thoughtful holiday accommodation, we would certainly recommend it to others.

  • "It was amazing how the owners managed to put everything we needed in a studio sized apartment."

There was even a private outdoor space which was a pleasant surprise. The studio was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The Welcome Gift of prosecco, beer and chocolates was a lovely touch. The owners live next door and couldn't have been friendlier.

  • "Although small but was expected for a studio."

Checking in was very easy, communication was very good. Great touches from the owners with Beer, Prosecco, milk and chocolates left for us, very thoughtful. Pretty well equipped and a great base to explore Devon, and catch up with a great friend just over the border in Cornwall. Have already recommended Sykes to friends, we was extremely pleased with the whole process and accommodation.

  • "Apart from the well equipped spacious light comfortable studio flat, our hosts were extremely helpful when our car broke down directing the A A to take our car to the garage he uses thereby turning a disaster into something less."

Our car was repaired the next day and our host went out of his way to drive us to the garage to collect it. In our view saving our holiday from becoming a real disaster.
