The property

The Old Malt House is a pet friendly 200-year old property that has been beautifully converted to provide a spacious and comfortable holiday home, and sits in an idyllic location, just a few steps from the tidal estuary in the village of South Pool.

The market town of Kingsbridge is just 5 miles away with its individual shops and supermarkets. The first-floor entrance hallway provides access into the main living accommodation comprising of a beautifully appointed open plan kitchen and dining room with high quality fitted units, and benefitting from a spacious dining area furnished with a large table, with seating for eight, two large sofas, armchairs and a wood-burning stove with Bi-folding doors leading out onto the decked balcony with views over the creek.

The property also benefits from a playroom for the younger guests, at this level, and a cinema/TV room on the lower ground floor. There are four bedrooms in total sleeping up to 8 guests.

Bedroom one is furnished with a super king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe and with an en suite bathroom with separate shower cubicle, bedroom two has a double bed and en suite shower room, bedroom three has a king-size bed whilst the fourth bedroom features bunk beds.

In addition to the en suites, there is a beautifully presented Jack and Jill bathroom. To the rear of the house is a beautifully landscaped walled garden with numerous shrubs, trees and bushes providing a distinctly Mediterranean feel.

Beautifully laid patios including a large decked area with glass and aluminium balustrading, ideal venues for al fresco dining or just simply taking a moment to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Parking is provided for 2-3 cars off road in front of the house.
